Community Garden

For a number of years, City Church Belfast has made creative use of the open, green space at the side and back of the building to cultivate a community garden and pizza/bread oven. It’s a quiet place apart, in the middle of the busy, noisy city. People from church, students, the cafe and local residents have all been involved in creating and enjoying this shared space – and anyone can use the facilities. It’s a great way to get active, learn some gardening skills, and grow your own vegetables. Why not join us from 9.15am on Thursdays?

Playgrounds

Every Thursday 10:00am-11:30am (during term)

Open to parents and carers of babies and toddlers, playgrounds is a chance for them to bring their little ones along for chat and friendship.

Kids Club

Every Wednesday 6.30pm – 7:30pm (during term)

All primary school age kids are welcome to come along to our Kids Club on Wednesdays from 6.30pm. Bible Stories, games, art, music and crafts are some of the things that will make the evening very fun and enjoyable. Please come and invite a friend!

South Belfast Foodbank

We are committed to tackling poverty and dealing with some of the underlying causes in the Holylands and wider area.

A number of years ago, City Church Belfast helped set up South Belfast Foodbank. It became an independent charity in 2021. We are now a referral agency for South Belfast Foodbank.
